The DevOps course provides an in-depth exploration of the practices, tools, and methodologies used to streamline software development, deployment, and operations. Beginning with foundational concepts like version control (Git) and understanding the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), the course introduces core DevOps principles, including continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), and automation. Students will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) to automate infrastructure provisioning, containerization, and orchestration. Key topics include microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring, which are critical for building scalable, reliable, and efficient systems. Throughout the course, students will set up real-world DevOps workflows, enabling them to deploy and manage applications across cloud environments with minimal manual intervention. The Final Project will allow students to apply these skills to automate and optimize the delivery pipeline for a complex application, preparing them for real-world DevOps roles.
